Hey. Long time no patch. It’s me, your best friend and most dangerous Nosferatu, Mellie. You might remember me from our last content patch. I’m super excited to bring you a big collection of small things (and a couple bigger things) to help make your Demiplane experience better.
Why the long wait?
The team has been incredibly busy with some major launches over the past several months, plus the work for Gen Con. However, we know these updates are incredibly important, so we’ve been making some changes internally to help get them out at a more regular pace again! That’s why this will likely be the last patch update you’ll see from me, Mellie, in a while, as I put it into the incredible hands of Jo Berlage, who helped me with this patch update and will be captaining our future ones. I’m so excited for you all to get familiar with Jo, who has been with Demiplane for even longer than I have!
Jo will be back in the near future with our next patch update, as we continue to work hard on making fixes and improvements to the way you play games here on Demiplane.
Special Releases
In addition to the below fixes, we have two major updates going out at the same time.
Daggerheart: Motherboard Campaign Frame Support
At launch, Demiplane supported the Witherwild and Age of Umbra campaign frame custom rules, with the plan to support additional frames afterwards. The first of those is now available!
The Motherboard campaign frame includes numerous special features and functions that will change how you experience the Daggerheart sheet, including the Clank being restricted, characters having a customizable Ikonis, and your currency being swapped for Quantum. You can even track and roll for scrap, and use that scrap to craft upgrades for your Ikonis.
We hope you enjoy using this new update! We’re already starting work on the next campaign frame, and can’t wait to share it with you.
Vampire: In Memoriam
There’s no escape from the past… And why would you want to, when you have these slick rules to play with? The In Memoriam rulebook is now available!
This title includes everything you’ve come to expect from a Demiplane release of a Vampire: the Masquerade title, but also includes support for the variant character building rules for Ancilla.
To use these new rules, you’ll need to first own In Memoriam on Demiplane. Then, in the character builder, you can choose “Preferences” and then turn In Memoriam character creation on. This will add three new options to your generation dropdown. When one of these is selected, you’ll experience a new character creation flow that will give you alternate options and take you through the Oceans of Time as you work through the eras your character has lived (or slept) through.

What is this?
In these regular patches, we’ll be releasing fixes and updates to items on our larger NEXUS platforms (like Vampire and Pathfinder), and summarizing updates that have been released for smaller NEXUSes in the time since our last update.
Why the change?
With the new cache improvements, we don’t want to break your character’s cache on larger NEXUS platforms as frequently as we make small improvements and fixes. Instead, we’ll push them all at once on a regular cadence, so that you keep your improved load-times for longer! Read more here.
I noticed a problem!
Thanks for your eagle eyes! Please post about it in our forums, or on our Discord. If it’s a quick fix, we’ll get it in our next patch. Otherwise, we’ll make sure it gets to the right team member for deeper work.
